Framing the Dialogue

The Third Option

the third optionThis is my second venture into Vince Flynn’snovels featuring spymaster Mitch Rapp “one of the most lethal and efficient killers the CIA has ever produced.”  The Third Option refers to what some might consider the last option when dealing with adversaries.  In this novel, Flynn pulled me in and kept me on the edge of my seat, couch, bed, chair, or wherever I could steal time to read.  This book is so good, I found a lot of time to steal.

Mitch Rapp finds himself set up as a pawn in the middle of Washington political maneuvering with men who do not have a second thought about having people killed.  Mitch is compromised during an operation and it not sure who he can trust.  Flynn blends high tech, kick butt weapons, and political backstabbing in a very compelling novel.  While there is not a “cliff hanger” in this book, all is not totally resolved.

You need not have read Flynn’s earlier Rapp novel, Transfer of Power, but I would recommend it.
