Separated At Birth – Candy/Rosie

Rosey the Robot Maid:  Rosie is a humanoid robot fictional character in The Jetsons animated television series of the 1960s. She is the Jetson’s maid and housekeeper and is usually depicted wearing a frilly apron. Her torso is mounted atop a single leg and she rolls about on a set of caster wheels.  She frequently calls George Jetson “Mr. J”.  Rosey was an old demonstrator model hired by the Jetson family from U-RENT A MAID. In the episode “Rosey the Robot”, her model number is revealed as XB-500.  Rosey is modeled after Hazel from the TV show Hazel, a sitcom featuring Shirley Booth as a similar maid character.

Separated At Birth – Saw Puppet/Cher

Saw Puppet:  The Saw Puppet, unofficially referred to as “billy” by handlers is the plastic face of the Jigsaw Killer in the popular Saw movies.  Billy has been famous for putting victims in sadistic traps and making them face life-and-death decisions.  A typical trap may be to chain the victim with a knife nearby with the only way to escape being to saw their arm off.  Billy is often used to describe the gory details to the trapped victims and causing many nightmares.

View From The Couch

h1n1I know that the title gives the impression that the view is from a couch potato, but that is not the view.  I spent the last week confined to the house getting over the flu.  My doctor believed that it was H1N1, but did not bother to run any blood work since the results would not be available until after I was cured or dead.  That is not a quote, but the reality.  I’ll have to admit that it was the worst flu that I have experienced, but the deaths that I have read about all seemed to be caused by the secondary issues.  My condition settled into my chest and that is what my doctor treated.

Trickle…Yes MSM It’s Starting!

leaky_faucetEarlier in the month in my posting, Groundswell, I provided a case that there is a true groundswell of opposition to excessive government.  I will admit that it started as more of a anti-liberal Democrat movement, but the ranks have been joined by many others.  I believe that this groundswell has turned into a trickle (this is a positive development) as we are seeing the main stream media starting to open up and do their jobs although still to a limited extent.

I believe, and we should remember that this is a gathering storm against politicians of all party affiliations.
