Obama In His Own Words – Shoot Last

Ambushed, tortured, and murdered Ambassador Chris Stevens

“Governor Romney seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later. And as president, one of the things I’ve learned is you can’t do that. That, you know, it’s important for you to make sure that the statements that you make are backed up by the facts. And that you’ve thought through the ramifications before you make ’em.”

Life Unlock

A snapshop paints a thousand words this one of Yahoo tells you what the mainstream media wants you to read

This story about identity theft sounds about as exciting the next story about identity theft except that the perpetrator was not interested in stealing money or assets. Zach Edwards has been accused and arrested for attempting to steal the identity of Matt Schultz. This is still not titillating for you? Here is the headline from the story from the Des Moines Register:

Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz Targeted for Identity Theft by Former Obama Staffer

Puzzle Me This

“We came, we saw, he died”

Secretary of State Hilary Clinton (Democrat)

I happened to catch some of Sean Hannity’s radio show this afternoon.  He had as a guest long-time Democrat strategist and spokesman Lanny Davis.  Sean had devilish intentions of busting the chops of Davis about President Obama’s poll numbers and suggesting that just about any Republican candidate could win in 2012.  Davis differed on that and suggested that only Romney had the right stuff to challenge Obama (I have to admit to being leery about the Democrat’s consistent position, almost a longing, to have Romney be the Republican nominee).

With Friends Like These…

As someone who sits more in the middle (I don’t buy the “right” label anymore) I cannot help but chuckle as President Obama’s leftist friends start to treat him with the same level of respect as they used for President Bush. They have held their tongues for over two years, but as Obama faces the tough path of being elected versus running for office, some of his actions are leaving his “friends” unable to hold their tongues. It would be more humorous if the issues weren’t more serious and perhaps with the future of our country at stake.

The Enemy Within

“Listen to me. We’ve traced the call… it’s coming from inside the house”

when a stranger callsI don’t know if you saw the suspense movie, When A Stranger Calls, but when the police made this call to the young lady in the house, chills went up my spine.  The stalker was actually inside the house where everybody assumed that she was safe.  Where we all think we are safe.

As I watched the recent presidential campaign many things struck me as odd, but one in particular.  Barack Obama enjoyed the support of the United Mine Workers Union.  That in itself is not a big surprise as he had the support of every union as Democrat politicians usually have.  The interesting part was when you factored in Obama’s comments regarding the future of coal:

Barack’s Christmas List Discovered

Emboldened by the folks who released the data and e-mails creating the Climategate scandal (except for the United States) someone has accessed White House computers and has found President Barack Obama’s Christmas List.  Rumor is that Obama is still a Christian even thought he had to be guilted into putting up the White House nativity Magic Obamaballscene.  The list was partially released to The Garlic web site who leaked only one of the items on his list.

Based on recent Rasmussen presidential polls, most Americans are thinking he is more naughy than nice so the jury is still out on whether he will get this gift.

Living In The Twilight Zone

February 6, 2009 Update:  The Obama Administration’s continued flirtation with law-breakers keeps getting worse and worse and worse.  Here are his latest poor choices:

Secretary of the Health and Human Services – Tom Daschle:  It seems the former senator “forgot” to pay $128,000 in taxes over three years.  He paid the back taxes plus $12,000 in interest and penalties seemingly right before his confirmation hearings.  It was also disclosed that Mr. Daschle also made millions of dollars since he failed to win re-election in 2004.  He was paid by a law firm, but is not a lawyer and claimed that he is not a lobbyist.  If it gets paid like a lobbyist and looks like a lobbyist and smells like a lobbyist, he mustn’t be a lobbyist.
