Framing the Dialogue

Time Less

Like a chicken with its head cut off, Time Magazine continues to thrash about without a brain with yet another uninspiring “Man of the Year” cover.  Not only was the selection of “The Protester” further indication of the leftist agenda, but their honored protesters are more famous for their damage than their courage as evidenced by their propensity to hide their identity as they “brave” their opposition.  Brave in this case means mob as that is what they are.

AP – Adulterated Press

I’ve gotten to the point that before I read a newspaper article (yes I still read the newspaper every day) I read the headline then where the news story originated.  For many news sources like the Washington Post, the LA Times, and the New York Times that is where I stop because their slanted reporting is more than I can take.  If the story looks interesting I’ll look for a more reliable online source.  One news source that seems both prolific and particularly biased is the Adulterated Press (or “AP”).

Ole King Coal

“What I’ve said is that we would put a cap-and-trade system in place that is more — that is as aggressive if not more aggressive than anybody else’s out there, so if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can, it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”

A Missing Link?

This is not a posting about evolution or intelligent design, but it does contain an element of biology.  I wish that I knew more about the brain and critical thinking processes in the human brain.  I cannot seem to grasp the way big liberal think.  Do they have a part of their brain that is overdeveloped?  I suspect it is an underdeveloped are, but wanted to give them the benefit…initially.  The progressives see life and American so much differently than I do I sometimes have doubts about my own clarity (only briefly).

Maybe they are right?

And They Let Them Drive!

Perhaps worse than being tailgated by some idiot is following another with inane messages adorning their car’s rear.  I cannot call them bumper stickers because so many of these whack-jobs do not have a clue where to find that part of their car.  Here are some of my least favorites…

I was taking my youngest to JoAnn Fabrics to pick up some supplies for a school project and came across this gem.  I usually let these pass, but this one really pissed me off.  The nerve of some idiot actually equating a human life with the life of an animal that we might kill and eat.

Fee-tation Without Representation

Politicians like to create villains before raising taxes or using today’s nomenclature raising fees.  Politicians do not raise taxes, they charge fees.  Groups like the evil health insurance companies, big pharma, Wall Street, big oil, and big defense have all been in the sights of liberals/politicians/progressives.
