Dancing on His Grave Yet Taking His Money

In what is the worst of all manners, President Obama has bragged thousands of times about “getting bin Laden,” but has recently taken campaign donations from the dead al Qaida leader.  Say what?  As his campaign did in 2008, Obama “turned off” the controls/safeguards that prevent foreign contributions to his campaign coffers.  World Net Daily had the idea to see if Osama could donate from a Pakistani Internet Protocol using a throw away credit card and a fake address.  So what do you think happened?

All by myself

Forget those Navy SEALs, all by myself anymore

News Briefs – Volume XXV

News briefs are a collection of interesting news stories…

Brief 1: Never content to accept a win, special interest groups (perhaps the bane of our society) have already begun to dissect America’s victory when a team of soldiers killed Osama. The Onondaga Indian tribe released a statement criticizing the use of the code name “Geronimo” for bin Laden,

Geronimo bravely and heroically defended his homeland and his people, eventually surrendering and living out the rest of his days peacefully, if in captivity…Geronimo is arguably the most recognized Native American name in the world and this comparison only serves to perpetuate negative stereotypes about our people…Why would that be honorable to us? All they know is just cowboys and Indians, the stuff they saw on TV.”

Ding Dong Osama’s Dead

Having just returned from a two day “college tour” with our high school junior I actually was in bed at 9:30 last night and did not hear the news until this morning.  The great news.  It was funny listening to the right-leaning talk shows today as the hosts grudgingly gave praise to Obama, but not quite happy about it.  I am happy about it and can acknowledge that “It’s Bush’s fault.”  Having taken the mess of our intelligence community left after Clinton and Garelick (the “Wall” lady) and infusing a mass of support and pride our human intelligence (“humint”)capabilities were greatly improved.  That’s not saying much since our humint was so lacking, but yesterday’s events prove the value of himint.  We may never know what all transpired, but Obama, perhaps unwittingly gave props to Bush,
