Ohio Bridges Fallin Down

It will be interesting to see how fast Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and other politicians will throw the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement under the bus now that five OWS members were caught trying a little anarchy of their own by blowing up a major bridge in Ohio.  Fortunately these jokers’ plan was about as conherent as OWS’s message and they bought their fake explosives from the FBI.  My local paper pinned the story directly to the OWS movement, but it will be interesting to see how the Associated Press tries to spinn this.  Perhaps they were misguided or perhaps not satisfied with the peaceful means that is the cornerstone of the OWS movement (FYI that was meant to be dripping with sarcasm).

Unelected Group of People

If you need any more information regarding the Regime that is the Obama Administration’s his latest use of third-world politics in his threat” aimed at the Supreme Court;

“I’m confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.”

Time Less

Like a chicken with its head cut off, Time Magazine continues to thrash about without a brain with yet another uninspiring “Man of the Year” cover.  Not only was the selection of “The Protester” further indication of the leftist agenda, but their honored protesters are more famous for their damage than their courage as evidenced by their propensity to hide their identity as they “brave” their opposition.  Brave in this case means mob as that is what they are.

Sowell On Occupy

A friend forwarded these comments from Thomas Sowell on our country, the “occupy” crowd, Obama, liberty…America!

“The current Occupy Wall Street movement is the best illustration to date of what President Barack Obama’s America looks like. It is an America where the lawless, unaccomplished, ignorant and incompetent rule. It is an America where those who have sacrificed nothing pillage and destroy the lives of those who have sacrificed greatly.”

“It is an America where history is rewritten to honor dictators, murderers and thieves. It is an America where violence, racism, hatred, class warfare and murder are all promoted as acceptable means of overturning the American civil society.”

As We Forgive Those Who Trespass Against Us

Sometimes I need help explaining what appears to be inexplicable…

Our local chapter of the “Occupy” movement (though they really don’t move all that much) has been occupying a local, privately owned park in the downtown area of Pittsburgh.  The owner, BNY New York, had been allowing the occupation, but recently figured out that placating stooges who hate you won’t make them like you.  In fact they lose respect for you, feel like they can push you around, and seek more.  That’s the whole “Occupy” movement.

Update -True American Hero – Daniel Hannan

Nearly three years ago I identified Daniel Hannan as a True American Hero…he was the forth to achieve this designation.  Mr. Hannan is a staunch defender of American ideals and often offers clear and concise arguements supporting capitalism and free markets and conservatism.  This is more unique in that he hails from Great Britain.

This is an easy post for me as most of it will be using Daniel Hannan’s own words and a link to an article written by him that you will be inticed to read.  The article is a message to “Occupy” folks and an attempt to point them in the right direction to vent their displeasure.  Hannan offers ten points of which I’ll only provide a brief tease;

Occupy This

I have been forwarded secret documents from Massachusetts Senatorial candidate and former Obama advisor Elizabeth Warren’s plan for the “occupy” movement.  You may recall she took credit for the movement,

“I created much of the intellectual foundation for what they do.  I support what they do.”

The documents that came into my possession show the process or “intellectual foundation” for how the Occupy Wall Street movement decided what to occupy.

That didn’t work since Big Bird and Company are billionaires…
