This will be a short one. Last week the lame-stream media went nuts over President Trump’s press conference…actually they became unhinged. Perhaps taking a page from el Rushbo, President Trump predicted how the media would portray his performance at the press conference and did EXACTLY as he predicted. The liberal PR department that is CNN became unglued during and mostly after the event. The most egregious comments coming from Jake Tapper who is usually the most reasonable. I guess CNN is rubbing off on poor ole Jake? They just don’t like having their bias and fake news rubbed in their faces.
New York City: Hoping to cash in on the seemingly endless whining after President Donald Trump’s historic election, iconic franchise, Build A Bear, will be featuring a new line of “bear” products, Build A Bare. “These Bares will allow the many victims of the Trump Presidency cope with their grief and having lost so spectacularly in November.” said marketing VP, Madonna Judd. She went on to explain that “we probably won’t be selling these in stores throughout the country, but will focus on the larger cities like Washington, DC, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and Hollywood. That’s where are market seems to be and we expect to make a killing.” Madonna Judd noted. “I have thought a lot about this product blowing up.”
If you have been conscious over the last few weeks you were not surprised by Obama’s unilateral declaration of Amnesty last night. The time for words has passed as I am tired of hearing the same old dialogue;
Bring them out of the shadows
Illegal immigrants (though this term is rarely used in the media anymore – Americans lost that framing the dialogue battle long ago)
I haven’t done a “News Briefs” for a while as I have been generally just posing individual pieces. It seemed like a good time as we are just under a week since the 2014 midterm elections where the Democrats got swamped, dumped, blown out. If you have read any of my stuff you’ll know that this pleases me. If you read any of my stuff you may also know that having main-stream Republicans in more power does not make me comfortable. So these new briefs have multiple subjects;
There is a famous quote from the 1960s after  “America’s Newsman,” Walter Conkite was said to have commented the America could not win the war in Vietnam (“But it is increasingly clear to this reporter that the only rational way out then will be to negotiate, not as victors, but as an honorable people who lived up to their pledge to defend democracy, and did the best they could.”). President Johnson upon hear this was to had said;
“If I’ve lost Cronkite, I’ve lost Middle America.”
The following clip is perhaps the most critical hit on Obama from SNL.
Sooner or later the GOP may actually grow a pair…not one for each elected official, just one that perhaps they can share. Maybe like those gnarly ones you see hanging from the back of a beat up pickup truck. The RINOs really think that they can just hold on and regain the Senate in November. I am not so sure with shenanigans like they pulled in Mississippi allowing…no encouraging…no begging Democrats to vote in the primary against the TEA Party candidate will leave many of us conservatives with a very bad taste in our mouths. I am having a hard time looking forward to Mitch McConnell as Senate Majority Leader. Dine on these fine quotes from Mitch recently;
Deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin posted a picture on his Twitter account of President Vladimir Putin petting a leopard next to one of Mr Obama holding a fluffy poodle, with the caption “we have different values and allies.â€
The following is a video clip from some folks putting together a movie about the Obama years…It’s not complimentary. In this clip the documentarian visits the woman who was made famous after the 2008 election when she gleefully exclaimed that Obama was going to take care of her needs. The clip shows the old clip and a short interview with her some five and a half years later.
Her house and furniture look very nice. I sense that she’s done alright in spite of this Administration and probably will be audited by the IRS soon.
