…Not As I Do

I’d like to celebrate the new book out by FLOTUS (Michelle Obama); Eat As I Say Not As I Eat.  How many of you are just plain tired of rich folks telling us how to live?  How many are tired of watching reality television in OUR White House?  We have a celebrity president rather than a presidential president.  In the words of one of the folks who forwarded the email with the following picture…”Will November ever get here fast enough?”

I know many of these stories are serious, but the headlines removed the restrain from my brain and we get headline humor.  These are the actual headlines as I found on-line.  When you click on the headline you will be taken to the original story which more often than not has nothing to do with my vision of the headline.

There has a roiling controversy in Pennsylvania’s control liquor sales system.  State government not only taxes the heck out of liquor and wines, it is the exclusive agent (Liquor Control Board or LCB) for the sale of said products.  Other than a limited number of outlets that can sell wine, if you want more than beer you have to visit a “State Store.”  They have since come up with a nicer name, but will always be State Stores to my generation.
