Socialism (soh-shuh-liz-uhm)

Socialism is defined as:

Socialism 2“an economic system of government which advocates state ownership of the means of production with equal distribution of goods among the people.”

  • Socialist governments own the banks, car companies, farmlands, factories, and stores, and is the only employer and consequently owns the means of production.  The government controls all investments, production, distribution, income, and prices, as well as all organizations, schools, news media and formerly private societies.

True American Hero – Rep. Michele Bachmann

michelle-bachmanUnfortunately for Minnesota, they are recently most known for having a former boa-wearing wrestler as a governor and a tax-evading, “comedy” writer as their newest senator.  There is a bright spot withing the land of 10,000 lakes beside Republican Governor Tim Pawlenty and she is Representative Michele Bachmann.

Rep. Bachmann first appeared on my radar when she spoke out strongly about the 2010 census.  The federal government has a constitutional authority to conduct a count of the number of citizens:

Groundswell…Yes MSM It’s True!

I don't get many comments about this sticker, but when I do it is usually from some informed person and it sparks a good conversation.

When I get stopped about this sticker, it often sparks a good conversation.

A funny thing happened on the way to Subway today.  After I pulled into the parking slot a stranger came up to me and commented on a sticker that I have on my rear car windo.  It was not Jared the famed pitchman for the chain, but Mike who turned out to be a like-minded individual.  Mike asked about the sticker on my car and we had a great conversation about taxes, big government, and the future.

Alternative media said: “Our one problem is that this frog does not appear to listen to reason. I keep trying to feed it information, data and proof, but it doesn’t eat anything. I don’t know what else to give it.”

Cooper Should Make a 360 and “Come Out of the Closet”

The mainstream media (“MSM”) showed their true stripes again during their coverage of the hundreds of Tea Parties held yesterday.  When confronted with a true grass-roots effort to protest excessive taxation and what is turning into an ever intrusive federal government, the MSM fell back on their typical, tired playbook.  They tried to diminish the efforts of the planners and attendees like the elitists they are.

Over the years, Anderson Cooper had seemed to be different, but we probably saw the real Cooper yesterday.  During his coverage of the tea parties and in response to a statement from David Gergen about the Republicans needing to “find their voice,” Cooper made the smug, off-color statement:
