You Lie

Obama-Lying-Book_There have been lots and lots of discussions and panels offering advice to Republicans regarding how to improve their brand. Some of the best “advice” comes from liberals who have absolutely NO desire to see Republican’s improve their lot with the electorate. It has been funny to me to watch these serious-faced pundits discuss Republicans as if they really wanted them to succeed. One only has to listen to their advice to know the truth behind their masks. They lie!

Update – Pale In Comparison

For some reason I happened to open the “fanfare” section of my local paper.  This is where our self-described beautiful people primp and pose at various high society events.  I do occasionally peruse looking for any name that I may recognize, but unless they are sports celebrities (or their spouses) the names are unknown to me.  I guess that I run in lower circles.  Within this section was “This Just In” that contains media short pieces.  It’s kind of like an unsexy People section about stuff most folks don’t care about.  A tidbit caught my eye as Sarah Palin’s name was highlighted in the body of the story.

News Briefs Volume XIII

News briefs are a collection of interesting news stories…

Brief 1:  This one should be under the title of “how cool is this.”  Kellogg Company has opened a store dedicated to their ever popular Pop-Tart (my favorite is iced brown sugar with cinnamon).  Pop-Tart World opened today in Times Square in New York City where you can design your own tart or have Pop-Tart sushi.  One can only imagine what they must have to charge per Pop-Tart to afford the rent in Times Square.  I wonder how long it will take Mayor Bloomberg to impose a sugar tax on the popular breakfast treat?
