Talk To The Hand

Even before I reached my advanced age I was a list maker.  Whether it be a shopping list, task list or the every present Honey-Do list there is usually one in my pocket.  My obsession (or organization skill) is to the point where I will actually add a task to a work list after I have completed it.  The task did not have to be on my original list.  I just like to cross items off of my lists.

Flow – Go With It Lame Stream Media

It started as a relatively modest groundswell as average citizen awoke to the path politicians were forcing us down.  The groundswell was followed by a trickle as more folks got engaged and even the main stream media started to actually report rather than cheer on the Obama White House.

The groundswell and trickle has lead to a flow!

The first example is the Daily Show’s Jon Stewart.  Jon is a liberal stalwart who generally leans severely left while occasionally getting it “right.”  While the rest of the lame stream media ignored the Climategate scandal, Stewart made this broadcast.  This must have been a shock to Stewarts audience.  Ordinarily I would embed the video here, but it is no longer available on YouTube.  This link will take you to the clip.

National Lamepoon’s Vacation

Obama vacationI had thought about the framework for this posting for a little while, but only recently found the hook that I wanted to use.  I was checking in on Facebook and noticed a posting from a friend of a friend “liking” a photograph [that actually makes sense if you use facebook] of President Obama and his family returning from their Hawaiian vacation.  Many of the friends posted comments and since I surmise from the photograph that most of these folks are young I was not too surprised at the comments.

“Great picture. What a beautiful family. I’m so glad they got a chance to escape the maddness for a short vacation.”

Wish List For Our Second 21st Century Decade

ChosenOneI guess that it is tradition to end the previous year and start a new year with some wishes or resolutions for the future.  As we move into the second decade of the 21st century I have a few of my own…hopefully for your enjoyment:

  • My first wish is for the lame stream media to start to enjoy the fact that they were successful in getting their man elected to the White House.  It has been almost a year so it is time for them to give up the ghost of the George W. Bush presidency and myths that they like to promote such as the 2000 election was stolen, Cheney was really in charge, and that Bush was both stupid and fiendishly cunning.

The British Are Coming

GoreAs the United States’ Lame Stream Media continues to ignore the Climategate scandal, the Brits continue to be on top of things.  I don’t usually post to simply link to someone’s article, but this expose from the UK’s Daily Express on Natural Climate Change Deniers lists 100 reasons why climate change IS natural.  Take the time to read the list as many of their talking points are debunked.

Here are a few to entice you:

Too Left To Fail

newspaper_stackA number of federal elected oaficials (intentionally misspelled) are testing the waters for a concept where they will take our money to bail out the main stream media (lame stream media, drive by media).  In April, John Kerry called for congressional hearings.  You should be encouraged that Senator Kerry cares so much about workers and the fate of our country.

“”America’s newspapers are struggling to survive, and while there will be serious consequences in terms of the lives and financial security of the employees involved, including hundreds at the Globe, there will also be serious consequences for our democracy where diversity of opinion and strong debate are paramount.”

Update – Gore’s Global Scheme Has A Fever

One of the high kings of the man-made global warming cabal addressed the hacked document scandal.  It should be noted that while the materials included e-mail messages, the documents also included studies and data that the cabal would not make available for scientific review.  It seems as if you had to almost pledge to be in their camp to view any data.

George Monbiot, one of the cabal’s leading propagandists discussed the documents.  As seems to always be the case, these stories break in other countries and never seem to make it to our lame stream media.  Andrew Bolt, a writer from Australia, posted what seems to be a frank admission by one of the Gore Fever Planet Cabal;
