Coptic Ruse
The Coptic Christians are perhaps some of the most faithful Christians and they have to be as their places of worship seem to in Middle East countries dominated by Islam. As a minority surrounded by many hostile people their faith must be strong. I have to admit that I know very little about this church other than occasional news stories where one of their churches happened to be burned down during Muslim protests.

One of my favorite authors, Thomas Sowell, penned an article critical of the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Ordinarily I would concur with his perspective, but cannot bring myself to “park at his ranch” on this issue (I apologize in advance if I lapse into more farm/country colloquialisms). A local syndicated radio host, Jim Quinn, has taken up the mantle and has been talking about the issue. A little over a year ago I wrote about a


(or organization skill) is to the point where I will actually add a task to a work list after I have completed it. The task did not have to be on my original list. I just like to cross items off of my lists.
I had thought about the framework for this posting for a little while, but only recently found the hook that I wanted to use. I was checking in on Facebook and noticed a posting from a friend of a friend ”liking” a photograph [that actually makes sense if you use facebook] of President Obama and his family returning from their Hawaiian vacation. Many of the friends posted comments and since I surmise from the photograph that most of these folks are young I was not too surprised at the comments.
