Like a chicken with its head cut off, Time Magazine continues to thrash about without a brain with yet another uninspiring “Man of the Year” cover. Not only was the selection of “The Protester” further indication of the leftist agenda, but their honored protesters are more famous for their damage than their courage as evidenced by their propensity to hide their identity as they “brave” their opposition. Brave in this case means mob as that is what they are.
As I was driving to work this morning I thought of perhaps one of the best (i.e. worst) examples of unconstitutional actions by our federal government;

Brief 1: One option that a president has to get some of his controversial nominees appointed is to wait for Congress to recess and then is able to appoint them to a limited term. I remember celebrating W’s recess appointment of John Bolton as U.N. ambassador. Obama stired controversy on recent recess appointments because Congress was not actually in recess. The Supreme Court and settled law had determined that if Congress was not in session for three or more days then they were in recess. Obama, with the backing of his Justice Department waited ONE DAY to claim a recess and appoint his henchmen. Fortunately we have a strong Congress who cares about maintain the delicate balance of the three branches of government and will soon fix/find a way to reverse the appointments – - Oh wait we don’t have enough Congressmen with the guts to take on Obama.
This story about identity theft sounds about as exciting the next story about identity theft except that the perpetrator was not interested in stealing money or assets. Zach Edwards has been accused and arrested for attempting to steal the identity of Matt Schultz. This is still not titillating for you? For those of us that lean fiscally conservative the following headline was meant to give solace to the frighteningly steep rise in our nation’s debt;
The borrowing refers to the need to yet again raise our debt ceiling and allow politicians the ability to spend more by borrowing more. I, unlike the article’s author, used the term “politicians” rather than just Obama when referring to the one(s) doing the borrowing. This story is should be primer on how the political class (both right and left and middle) play the game to ensure that they stay in power while seeming to play to their bases.
I hesitate to call my list “news stories” because many of them have not been covered by the Obama-media because they would make the liberal administration look like the miserable failure that it has been. On with the list.
The Economy: If you look past the cheerleading reporting that the recession is over and jobs are being created, and a falling unemployment percent, you might just see how bad things still are. I don’t remember a time where I have sweated my employment for so long. I am not consumed, but the gnawing feeling is always there in the background. As of November 2011 the U6 Unemployment (U-6 = Total unemployed, plus all persons marginally attached to the labor force, plus total employed part time for economic reasons, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus all persons marginally attached to the labor force) rate is 15.6 percent. 
“Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt contended that the president has not broken his promise on [taking money from] lobbyists, saying in a statement that the Times analysis “misses the forest for the trees.”
The accusation has to be particularly hurtful to Obama since it came from their long-time pubic relations firm, The New York Times. If you factor in “liberal-speak” there is a missing word in the quote from Obama’s spokesman and that would be the word “directly.” Once the money is bundled and rebundled and given by lobbyists, but from their personal accounts it’s all mixed up. Who could follow it. You would have to be as naive as a mass media journalist to believe that lobbying money doesn’t make its way into Obama’s coffers.
The framers wrote the Constitution to provide for a separation of powers, or three separate branches of government. Each has its own responsibilities and at the same time they work together to make the country run smoothly and to assure that the rights of citizens are not ignored or disallowed. This is done through checks and balances. A branch may use its powers to check the powers of the other two in order to maintain a balance of power among the three branches of government. I was shampooing my hair this morning and forgot how to do it so as luck would have it my bottle had directions. The only problem is that I got stuck in a loop of lather, rinse, repeat…lather, rinse, repeat…lather, rinse, repeat…. (you get the picture). There is nothing on the directions about when to stop. So I start thinking that since this seems to be happening with Obama’s economic policy maybe he lost the last page of his economic book and just doesn’t know where to stop. I eventually ran out of shampoo and had to stop, but he has no “bottle” to empty. When he runs out of our money, he just prints/borrows more. Like my suds our money seems to be going down the drain.
