BHO Network

The new, open media has allowed virtually anyone to produce their own media outlet. For less than ten dollars you can register your domain name at GoDaddy, set up a WordPress account and be on your way. It’s getting the audience that is the tough part. (By the way thank all of you for continuing to read FramingTheDialogue! – tell your friends) If you have ten or twenty million dollars you can start your own cable network like Al Gore’s “Nobody Knows The Name Network” or Oprah’s “O” network. Even for big names like Oprah and Gore getting the audience is still the rough part. Neither of them has done particularly well.

On The Spam Again

It is funny that the day I posted my second article about interesting/weird messages I get with spam, my spam blocker caught over 100 new spam (that’s a lot for me).  So as long as spammers post silly spam I will share with you their insights, poor English, compliments, and their attempts to lure me into their porn sites.  This collection is the best(or worst) of the best from Akismet’s 5,000 caught spam since my last 5,000 caught spam, which is 5,000 more (that is 15,000 spam in case you are keeping track).  I don’t embellish or fix their spelling:

I Miss

I started a new job in January.  I didn’t have a lot of options at that time so I accepted a job where I have a 60 minute commute each way, longer hours, poorer benefits (but better than unemployment), longer hours, mountains of stress, a thankless workload, longer hours, oh and longer hours.

Driving home tonight at 7:30 pm I noticed this bumper sticker on the car in front of me at a stop light.  It took a few seconds for the message to register, but it gave me a chuckle.
