Update -True American Hero – Daniel Hannan

Nearly three years ago I identified Daniel Hannan as a True American Hero…he was the forth to achieve this designation.  Mr. Hannan is a staunch defender of American ideals and often offers clear and concise arguements supporting capitalism and free markets and conservatism.  This is more unique in that he hails from Great Britain.

This is an easy post for me as most of it will be using Daniel Hannan’s own words and a link to an article written by him that you will be inticed to read.  The article is a message to “Occupy” folks and an attempt to point them in the right direction to vent their displeasure.  Hannan offers ten points of which I’ll only provide a brief tease;

878-JVST_MARYS-INGLEWOOD07_standalone_prod_affiliate_4Debate is still raging over Democare.  I am thinking that “Democare” may be more descriptive than Obamacare as we need to chain this legislation to all of the Democrats.  Let’s pin this to them like a tattoo.  Unfortunately, the left is still pushing a vigorous agenda of big government and big spending and wealth spreading.  Lest you are relaxing as Democare has taken a hiatus (you know it will be back) here are some of the other socialist agenda items that you may have missed:

The Law of Unintended Consequences

The events surrounding the AIG bailouts, fallouts and now hearings made me think of an episode of the animated series The Simpsons.  You will have to give me a little leeway to develop this concept.

The episode (Bart the Mother – 1998) featured a storyline where Bart accidentally killed a robin only to find the abandoned nest full of eggs.  He becomes obsessed with hatching and raising the birds.  When the eggs hatch, he is surprised that the young are not robins, but an invasive lizard species that replaces bird eggs with its own eggs.
