President Richard Milhouse Nixon:  The Watergate scandal was a political scandal that occurred in the United States in the 1970s as a result of the June 17th 1972 break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate office complex in Washington, D.C., and the Nixon administration’s attempted cover-up of its involvement. The scandal eventually led to the resignation of Richard Nixon, the President of the United States, on August 9, 1974 — the only resignation of a U.S. President. The scandal also resulted in the indictment, trial, conviction, and incarceration of 43 people, including dozens of Nixon’s top administration officials.  The affair began with the arrest of five men for breaking and entering into the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters at the Watergate complex on June 17, 1972. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) connected cash found on the burglars to a slush fund used by the Committee for the Re-Election of the President, a fundraising group for the Nixon campaign. President Barrack Hussein Obama:  The Watterson scandal should be a major political scandal that occurred in the United States in 2013 as a result of the February 2nd illegal eavesdropping at Republican Senator Mitch McConnel’s headquarters at the Watterson office complex in Lexington, Kentucky.  The question is whether the Obama administration is attempting to cover-up of its involvement.  The scandal eventually may lead to Obama as it has been reported that prior to the eavesdropping the head of the group accused of the taping met with senior Obama staff in the White House.  The scandal should result in the indictment, trial, conviction, and incarceration of members of the administration. The affair began when the Washington Post’s David Corn and Mother Jones broke the story using a poor transcript of the illegally obtained recording.  The group, Progress Kentucky, is a Democrat operative group with ties to the Obama Administration.
