Framing the Dialogue

On The Spam Again

It is funny that the day I posted my second article about interesting/weird messages I get with spam, my spam blocker caught over 100 new spam (that’s a lot for me).  So as long as spammers post silly spam I will share with you their insights, poor English, compliments, and their attempts to lure me into their porn sites.  This collection is the best(or worst) of the best from Akismet’s 5,000 caught spam since my last 5,000 caught spam, which is 5,000 more (that is 15,000 spam in case you are keeping track).  I don’t embellish or fix their spelling:

July 19, 2010:  “our … thoughts are … synchronized.” [We may be in sync, but I am ahead since the post referenced was about 8 months old]

July 19, 2010:  “Beatiful spoken..I am in sunc with your post” [I hope they meant “sync” rather than “sunk” and maybe they want me to start a podcast since I write at this site more than speak]

July 19, 2010:  “You must be a wonderful person!” [Almost made me want to buy a pair of the shoes they were selling…ALMOST]

July 19, 2010:  “thanks you, maybe I can overstep the limits in my soul and your blog will help me)))” [Framing The Dialogue…Good For The Soul!]

July 24, 2010:  “Well, you seem to have mastered the art of blogging…I’ve never seen anyone get such a huge response from a ham sandwich and a Pepsi !!!”  [WTF]

August 4, 2010:  “I’m currently being held prisoner by the Russian mafia and being forced to post spam comments on blogs and forum! If you don’t approve this they will kill me.  They’re coming back now. Please send help!” [I never heard from them again!]

Kielbassa is not Polish "Spam," but probably share many of the same ingredients.

August 6, 2010:  “If you have a plan to visit Poland you have to see our site where you will find the best places in Poland.  Poland it’s a beautifull country aspecialy small villages near the sea. We present the best places you have to sea if you are in Poland.”  [Polish is probably the only Eastern European nationality that is not part of my bloodline, but I may like to sea the see from their.]

August 20, 2010:  “Once upon a stretch there was a fatherland of mice. It was called Navy. In its north-west, there was a young village, called Pipin…” [WTF]

August 22, 2010:  “Comfortabl y, the article is in reality the greatest on this worthy topic. I concur with your conclusions and will thirstily look forward to your coming updates. Saying thanks will not just be sufficient, for the wonderful lucidity in your writing. I will directly grab your rss feed to stay privy of any updates. Good work and much success in your business dealings!”  [Any chance this dude has a well worn copy of a Thesaurus nearby?]

August 31, 2010:  “Rainbows are just to look at, not to really understand.”  [So this is what happens to philosophy majors after they graduate]

September 17, 2010:  Constitution day seemed to be a day with spammers exercising their First Amendment rights to free speach as I received what I would call a record number of suggestions for porn sites.  In addition to the number they offered a surprising variety including, Indian, interracial, lesbian, amature, Japanese, young and “fresh” porn.  I have no idea what “fresh” porn is.

October 1, 2010:  “Being a blawger is like being in charge of your own personal insane asylum.”  [finally a true reader of my work]

November 3, 2010:  “Male Breast Pills” [I am not sure whether these pills are to grow them or allow women to share theirs with you – the first doesn’t interest me and the second would get me in trouble with my wife.]

November 15, 2010:  “I should notify my friend about this.”  [Notify all of your friends about this…unless you only have just the one.]

November 18, 2010:  “hello! This was a really impressive Topics!  I come from itlay, I was luck to approach your topic in google.  Also I get a lot in your subject really thanks very much i will come every day.”  [I get that English may not be her first language, but you’d think spelling her country right would be a no-brainer]

November 19, 2010:  “Pretty good post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts.”  [This was from HARRY POTTER on the day of his movie opening.  I’d have thought he’d be busy fighting off “he who must not be named” to read my posts although he only gave me a “pretty good.”]

November 28, 2010:  “You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist. Great Post!”  [Spam Philosophy]

December 1, 2010:  “makes me want to drink alchoholic beverages.”  [Not sure if it was the writing or the subject]

December 6, 2010:  “British isn’t my primary language, but I can fully understand it while using google translator. Awesome content, you can keep them coming! Thank you so much!” [Hard to believe that “British” isn’t their primary language]

Since this is my third in the “Spam” series and I have been more selective.  This edition came so much quicker as the traffic to framingthedialogue is up so with the good comes some bad.  I think I’ll make the next interval 10,000.  Not so much for an increase in time, but the pickings have been getting slim.  Spam you again soon.
