Framing the Dialogue

Obama In His Own Words – Shoot Last

Ambushed, tortured, and murdered Ambassador Chris Stevens

“Governor Romney seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later. And as president, one of the things I’ve learned is you can’t do that. That, you know, it’s important for you to make sure that the statements that you make are backed up by the facts. And that you’ve thought through the ramifications before you make ’em.”

More and more information about the deadly attacks against American diplomats in Libya is coming out and I thought about Obama’s recent attacks on Mitt Romney for responding strongly to the murders, or shooting first, when the man who should have responded, The Commander In Chief, would not.  I remember Obama’s first statement about the bloody attacks and they struck me as odd.  Many conservatives and others who love our country are commenting on the evidence about the military action against Ambassador Stevens, but they never mention how Obama shot first…at Romney;

“As president, one of the things I’ve learned is you can’t do that.  It’s important for you to make sure that the statements that you make are backed up by the facts and that you’ve thought through the ramifications before you make them.”

I case you were wondering, here is Obama’s statement after the attack followed by his Secretary of State’s statement;

“Libyans helped some of our diplomats find safety, and they carried Ambassador Stevens’s body to the hospital, where we tragically learned that he had died”

                                                        – – B. Hussein Obama – –

“When the attack came yesterday, Libyans stood and fought to defend our post.  Some were wounded. Libyans carried Chris’s body to the hospital, and they helped rescue and lead other Americans to safety.”

                                                         – – H. Rodham Clinton – –

It seems to me that Romney, who was accused repeatedly of shooting first actually hit the target quite well.  The record doesn’t seem so good for the more “thoughtful” Obama.  I just wish some reporter would ask Obama or one of his minions why on earth the shoot first and ALWAYS assume the worst for Americans and the best for our enemies.  Obama cannot argue that he didn’t have the facts because he told a story about Libyans helping Chris Stevens that was an outright LIE.  The White House has yet to retract those statements instead now hiding behind the “it’s under investigation and we cannot comment” ruse.  The limp-(male body part) media allows it.  How do they sleep?  How do they look in the mirror?  How can they look at the pictures of a tortured Chris Stevens and not want to find the TRUTH.  Perhaps the limp-(male body part) media cannot handle the truth?

In case your forgot, early in his presidency Obama again shot before aiming regarding the incident in Cambridge, Massachusetts;

“Now, I don’t know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played in that. But I think it’s fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry; number two, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home; and, number three, what I think we know separate and apart from this incident is that there’s a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately. That’s just a fact.”

Maybe Obama will invite the Libyan terrorists and the Muslim Brotherhood over for a beer to discuss the issue.
