Framing the Dialogue

News Briefs – Volume XXXII – True Lies

News briefs are a collection of interesting news stories. This edition is all about lies that liers tell to lie to you;

Brief 1:  The attempt Tuesday to use a legal procedure to recall a governor who is not accused of illegal activities failed and Republican Governor Scott Walker won bigger than his original election.  Events (AND NEWS STORIES) leading up to the election seemed to predict a very tight race.  That’s the LIE.  Walker cruised to a win and now the democrat media machine is trying to make the win all about money.  They even are fudging the figures to make it look like the Republicans outspent the democrats.  This is BIG news and a BIG win for TEA Party folks.  If you want proof that this was a very important election look at this loaded quote from ABC Mews the day before the election;

“There are fundamental differences between the two parties here, and they mimic the debate in Washington. Republicans want to reduce the size of government, and they view the public sector as a hindrance to job growth, while Democrats want to use the public sector to spur job growth, promote fairness and serve as a safety net.” [Republicans are bad Democrats are nice]

Make no mistake that this was a big win, but it is just another battle.  We still need to win the war in November and the next fifty Novembers.

Brief 2:  There must be some kind of internal poll that shows that the American people think that Obama and his administration are weak.  There have been a lot of news reports about how much Obama likes to kill our enemies and his surrogates gleefully celebrated the anniversary of bin Laden’s death.  Recently the White House released a statement that they would not negotiate with terrorists to free an American kidnapped by al Qaeda.  That’s a stance that all administrations have had when dealing with the lawless.  The LIE comes in when you consider that the White House is already negotiating with the Taliban in Afghanistan.  Aren’t they terrorist?

Brief 3:  This one is SO MUCH A LIE that it boggles the imagination that President Obama would float this lead balloon;

“We believe the free market is one of the greatest forces for progress in human history; that businesses are the engine of growth; that risk-takers and innovators should be rewarded. But [remember “everything before but is bull“] we also believe that at its best, the free market has never been a license to take whatever you want, however you can get it; that alongside our entrepreneurial spirit and our rugged individualism, America only prospers when we meet our obligations to one another and to future generations.”

– – Barack Hussein Obama – –  (campaign “kick off speech” in Ohio)

If President Obama is a free market guy then my six pack must be on my abdomen and not in my fridge; Joe Bidden must be the most brilliant guy on earth; Michelle Obama watches what she eats and not what we eat; Nancy Pelosi is a Good Witch; Harry Reid is Mr. Excitement; Michael Moore looks like Roger Moore and not like he eats a lot of Dinty Moore; NASA must still be the preeminent space agency in the world; I didn’t just watch some woman use her Obama Credit (food stamp) card to buy king crab legs while I was buying that fake crab;

Remember that Ohio speech was read from the TOTUS (Teleprompter of the United States) and TOTUS told him what he should say.  His true feelings are his unscripted views.  Remember his quote to Joe the Plumber…”spread the wealth around.”  THAT THE TRUTH ABOUT HIS VIEWS and not the drivel he is trying to feed us now.

Brief ???  Ordinarily I would have more briefs as part of this series.  This last free market one has me blown away.  Here are a few more lies that you can mull:
