Hannah Swensen finds yet another body and finds herself in the middle of yet another murder investigation. Enlisting the help of her family and friends she works outside the purview of the police to do her sleuthing as she tries to clear a family member from suspicion. The Fudge Cupcake Murder has all of the hallmarks of other Joanne Fluke mysteries; good plot, likable characters, no real violence, and lots of recipes. I’ve always liked the way the author included the recipes for the goodies mentioned in the story. I have gotten some good ones over the years.
As is typical Fudge Cupcake Murders is a pleasant read. You won’t be riveted to your seat, but you will be entertained.
