Framing The Dialogue

…To A Gun Fight

ballsSooner or later the GOP may actually grow a pair…not one for each elected official, just one that perhaps they can share.  Maybe like those gnarly ones you see hanging from the back of a beat up pickup truck.  The RINOs really think that they can just hold on and regain the Senate in November.  I am not so sure with shenanigans like they pulled in Mississippi allowing…no encouraging…no begging Democrats to vote in the primary against the TEA Party candidate will leave many of us conservatives with a very bad taste in our mouths.  I am having a hard time looking forward to Mitch McConnell as Senate Majority Leader.  Dine on these fine quotes from Mitch recently;

R-E-S-P-E-C-T or Lack Thereof

Deputy prime minister Dmitry Rogozin posted a picture on his Twitter account of President Vladimir Putin petting a leopard next to one of Mr Obama holding a fluffy poodle, with the caption “we have different values and allies.”

Why The USA is NOT A Democracy!

a republicFor about the hundredth time in one of my blogs (I exaggerate for effect) I need to exclaim that the good ole USA in NOT a democracy and that was by design and we should be ever thankful to our Founding Fathers.  In that vein I share this quote;

Update: Liberal Alters – Public Education

imageThis headline about sums it up;

DC Schools: $29,349 Per Pupil, 83 Percent Not Proficient in Reading

This should be “Nuff said,” but it gets more sickening when you read how the money is spent and the results they get;

“According to the latest data from National Center for Education Statistics, but in 2013 fully 83 percent of the eighth graders in these schools were not “proficient” in reading and 81 percent were not “proficient” in math.”

Political Theatre

hopelessI’m sitting in a hotel “free breakfast” area on this crappy Sunday morning four hours from my home.  The coffee is quite good, the food is okay, the news is frustrating. My online news triumvirate starts with Drudge then I Hate the Media (website and my feelings about mainstream media), and end with Breitbart And this headline;

WV governor vetoes abortion bill, sparking outrage from national pro-life group

The bill protects unborn babies after 20 weeks.  So you would presumably be able to kill the unborn up until that point so this is at best a start on reigning in abortions.   West Virginia’s governor Tomblin sited legal concerns as his reason to veto the legislation passed by the Democrat-controlled congress is the state;

If You Like It You Can Keep It

We have all come to learn that Barrack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and all of the other Demoncrats that wrote and pushed the Affordable Care Act (AKA ACA, Obamacare) down our throats lied.  The “grandfathered” plan was a hoax because they KNEW that very few plans could be grandfathered.  They continue the lie as they say “it’s not our fault that your insurance carrier no longer offers the plan that you liked” know full well that is not true.  The law was written to achieve exactly that.  I happen to work for an organization that has what can be described as a “Cadillac Health Plan” though to get it I accept a lower salary.  I don’t need a crystal ball to know that Obamaites are coming after me.  I am sure that I’ll be able to keep my plan…they’ll just tax the hell out of this benefit until I bleed.

Dumb or Liar?

dumb or liarSo for all of you libretards out there you have to now decide whether the elected president is just dumb or a liar.  There is no middle ground.  There is no “I found out when I read the newspapers like everybody else.”  The nation has been barraged with PR spin about how bright Mr. Obama is, how this job just doesn’t challenge him enough and he may actually be disengaged because he is bored.  You can no longer have it both ways.  McClatchy Newspapers has just called him out for; a) a being dumb by making a dumb statement, or b) an outright liar in his lying statement during his State Of The Union Speech (SOTU) on Tuesday and subsequently repeated over the next few days;
