We Are Dumb…
Tonight,
We are dumb
So let’s set the left’s desire
We can burn lower
Than a dunce

The Lion
“The sun was in the western sky, and it shone down into the covered walkways and on the faces of the people who were part mourners and part curiosity seekers. Some of them, Khalil thought, did not comprehend what had befallen them, and some only dimly understood why this had happened. Most of them, he was certain, saw this event as a single incident, without context and without meaning. The Americans lived in the moment, without history and thus without prophecy. Their ignorance and their arrogance, and their love of comfort and their disobedience to God, were their greatest weakness. The moment in which they lived was passing and there was no future for them.”
Introducing Dr. Benjamin Carson – Rated AWESOME
Dr. Carson spoke at yesterday morning’s National Prayer Breakfast just before President Obama.  Dr. Benjamin S. Carson is a world-renowned pediatric neurosurgeon from Johns Hopkins Hospital. His keynote took a starkly political tone, advocating against some of the very policies the president has implemented. Need I remind you that Obama was sitting right there. Any chance the good doctor might get a certified letter from the IRS?
How To Lose Friends and Alienate People
It is always interesting to read a book that was published many years ago. Originally published in 1937, How To Lose Friends and Alienate People
is a tongue-in-cheek primer by Irving Tressler on how to achieve more free time and peace by having few, if any, friends and acquaintances.
“Some of us are born with ability to make others peeved, but most of us aren’t. We flounder about making empty, vapid, pleasing remarks and before we know it we have another ‘friend’ and have invited him to lunch ‘some day.”
Dirty Job
I worry sometimes that perhaps it’s me. Things that seem so clear to me are often obfuscated by those on the left as they make their arguments. Think of Obama’s chief propagandist, Jay Carney, and the stuff (I really mean another word, four letters, rhymes with spit) he has to spew in defense of Obama policies. It really is a dirty job.
Update – Give A Man A Fish
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.
Obama Version:
Give a man a welfare check, free childcare, a free cell phone, free Internet, cash for his clunker, food stamps, section 8 housing, free contraceptives, Medicaid, ninety-nine weeks of unemployment, free medicine, and he will vote Democrat the rest of his life…even after he’s dead.
The Beggar King
Imagine a murder mystery where the investigator doesn’t have a cell phone, electronic surveillance, laboratory tests, DNA evidence, or any real modern tools. If you are thinking Sherlock Holmes you’d need to go back in time a few centuries to a simpler yet seemingly crueler time; A time when your guilt was decided then you were tortured until you confessed. No imagine that you were the “hangman†who was tasked with inducing the confession out of the accused and the tables were turned.
R.I.P. Chris Kyle
The nation should be saddened today because of the death of American Sniper Chris Kyle. Kyle and a friend were apparently murdered while trying to help another former soldier. America is worse off with the loss of this warrior.
Threat Vector
Jack Ryan squared is back! I call it that as this Tom Clancy
novel, Threat Vector
feature both Jack Ryan, Sr. as the Commander-In-Chief and his son Jack Ryan, Jr. as a member of the super secret Campus. While the title and cover photograph suggest warfare, and there are those components, this big threat is of a cyber security nature and I have to fret over how close to the truth Mr. Clancy is with the abilities of our enemies…or by another name the Chinese.
